I am sitting in a car and its dark outside. There are four people in the back seat of my car, 3 girls and a guy. To my right is that all too acquiescent view of the Los Angeles landscape, its dimed yellow lights, its low hills that run though the long valleys. We are all very hip, from mustaches to contoured prescription glasses to vintage clothing and summer dresses, its all hip as hop.

Lieutenant Martin and Sergeant Wambue responded to the call at 10:47. It was a little early for disturbing the peace. They were forced to leave the Park Slope Donut Hut without paying, for the third time this week. Martin pulled the blue and white over the grass of Prospect Park, splashing mud clouds on screaming children. They stopped when the crowd grew too thick to bumper out of the way.
